This website was designed and built using PHP, MySQL Database, jQuery and Google Map API. The site is database-driven, which eliminates the need to write new html when new categories and species are added. New photos and information are simply entered into a web page form, and the underlying code automatically does the rest. This design dramatically reduces site maintenance time. For the end-user it also eliminates the time-intensive back and forth navigation as they move from one species to another. The page never changes. Only the images change.
